15. Bumblebee Bumblebee was on the run in 1987. He later found refuge in a junkyard, located in a small coastal city in California. Charlie, played by Hailee Steinfield, is an 18-year-old teenager and is trying to find his identity and place in the world. He found a broken Bumblebee. When he repaired the classic Volkswagen Beetle, he realized that this was not an ordinary car. "I want to touch this large and expansive franchise (Transformer-red) through the small story of one of the characters," said director Travis Knight.
